This is hard to read because the photos were taken by a cell phone. The product is a toilet brush. It's called "Black Man Cleaning Accessories Best Quality." Then I zoomed in for a close-up of the Black Man logo, which is the same one Hong Kong used on its Darkie Toothpaste. But Hong Kong stopped before I rode into town with a camera. Chiang Mai did not. Scrub that toilet, Black Man!

Wat Umong, a labrynthine Buddhist temple that may have been made that way to keep the mad monk from escaping. At the base of the mountains and poorly marked, it has few tourists, so it's extremely peaceful. It's also where damaged Buddha statues wind up, since they can't simply be destroyed and their karma must be handled properly. Apologies for the poor photo quality, but my digital camera decided to die (karma?). These are on a cell phone. I really wish I could show you the orange robes drying on a clothesline, or the abundance of poker-playing dog reproductions.
And we'll wrap this section up with photos I've stolen from other places.
